The coastal village at Mumbles, one mile away, is a fishing village with an abundance of restaurants, cafes, small shops, a Norman castle, supermarkets, a post office, pubs, a coastal footpath leading to the Mumbles Pier. Recently built to add to the choices of eateries are three large restaurants overlooking the bay.
